Real Therapists. Real Relationships. Real Results.

At InPowered Therapy, we do things differently. We're a boutique, therapist-owned practice offering holistic care that begins with truly getting to know you—and helping you find the right therapeutic fit.

Our approach is relational, grounded, and growth-focused, never cookie-cutter. We’re not part of a corporate network. We're small by design, so we can stay connected, intentional, and fully committed to your healing and transformation.

If “talk therapy” hasn’t worked for you…

You don’t have to be in crisis to reach out. Sometimes therapy helps… until it doesn’t.

You might feel stuck, disconnected, or like you’ve hit a wall.

Our relational, holistic approach offers a way to go deeper—beyond just talking—to uncover patterns, reconnect with yourself, and open up real change.

If you're looking for a better fit, more affordable care, or just something that actually feels like it's working, we’re here.

Sometimes, simply talking through things isn't enough to break through.

At InPowered, we understand that therapy needs to do more than just scratch the surface. Good therapy goes beyond being simply supportive or teaching skills — lasting change and true transformation come from going deeper.

That’s why we combine somatic (body-based) therapy, attachment therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with traditional talk therapy. These approaches don’t just focus on symptoms or surface-level struggles; they address the root causes of emotional pain, unhealthy patterns, and the mental load that hold you back — helping you reconnect your mind and body so you can actually move forward.

Whether you’ve felt stuck in therapy while dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, or the ongoing weight of everyday mental stress, we offer holistic therapy that empowers you to make real change — not just talk about it.

We’re the experts on therapy — and we know you’re the expert on you.

You know your story, your patterns, and your inner voice better than anyone else — and part of the work we do together is helping you uncover and trust that inner wisdom. At InPowered, we’re not here to tell you who you are or how to heal. We’re here to bring the tools, training, and experience that make healing possible.

Our therapists believe therapy works best when it’s a collaboration. We don’t just talk at you — we listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, and create a space where every part of you is welcome.

It’s only through learning to mindfully attune to your embodied experience — to truly live in your body — that you begin to regulate emotions, find your voice, and live more fully and authentically.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, or simply longing for something more, we walk beside you with curiosity, care, and deep respect for your unique path.

You already hold the key. We’re here to help you use it.

We blend traditional therapeutic methods with cutting-edge, holistic practices to support your healing on every level.

Our therapists can draw from a range of modalities to meet your unique needs, depending on their areas of expertise, including:

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

For compassionate self-discovery and healing from internal conflict.

Attachment-Based Therapy

To help you heal and strengthen relationships with yourself and others.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

To foster emotional resilience and healthier thinking patterns.

Somatic Therapy

To listen to your body and release the trauma and stress affecting your mental health.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

To help you manage difficult emotions with practical tools.

What is Internal Family Systems (IFS)?

IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy that honors the complexity of being human. We all have moments of inner conflict — feeling torn about what to do, upset by reactions we can’t seem to control, or overwhelmed by emotions that don’t make sense.

IFS helps you explore and understand the many “parts” within you:

The anxious part, doom-scrolling at night.
The overwhelmed part, trying to hold it all together.
The protective part, that shuts down or lashes out.
The part that’s just so tired.
The part that wonders, “What else is there?”
The part that fears you’re too much — or not enough.

Instead of silencing or fixing these parts, IFS helps you build a compassionate relationship with them. You'll begin to recognize their good intentions, uncover the burdens they carry from past wounds, and learn how to support yourself in a more grounded, connected way.

You are not one fixed identity — and that’s a good thing. IFS makes space for all of you, without judgment. And often, that’s where healing truly begins — especially if you’ve felt stuck in talk therapy before.

Learn more about our therapeutic methods:

  • Heal your body to heal your mind.

Our therapists are trained in somatic therapy, a powerful treatment that recognizes the connection between your body and mind. We integrate this with other body-focused modalities like Yoga Therapy and Somatic Experiencing, which help release emotional blockages stored in your body. This combined approach can be particularly helpful if you’re dealing with trauma, anxiety, or persistent stress.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) helps you navigate intense emotions, improve your relationships, and respond to stress in healthy ways. DBT can help you build emotional resilience through practical skills like mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. If you feel overwhelmed by emotion, stuck in patterns of self-criticism, or unsure how to ask for what you need, DBT might be a good fit for you.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you build psychological “flexibility” by teaching you how to stay present, accept what you can’t control, and take action toward what matters most, so you can live in alignment with your values — even when life feels hard. Instead of avoiding uncomfortable thoughts or emotions, ACT invites you to move through them with self-compassion and clarity. This approach is especially supportive for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, or major life transitions.

  • Attachment-Based Therapy focuses on the deep impact that early relationships may have hadh on how you connect with other people today. If you find yourself stuck in relationship patterns, afraid of closeness, or constantly second-guessing your worth, ABT can help. Attachment-based work helps you heal old wounds and strengthen your capacity for connection, so you can build secure, nourishing relationships

When I found IFS through an old boss, it felt like a homecoming. It gave structure to what I already sensed and knew. But I also saw where it fell short—where the body, development, and multigenerational context were left out. That gap is where I started building something of my own.

We offer…

Therapy for Adults

Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, or simply craving deeper connection and clarity, therapy can help you come home to yourself.

Our approach draws from modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and trauma-informed care, meeting you with both compassion and challenge.

Together, we’ll explore the parts of you that need tending, strengthen your sense of inner leadership, and create space

Therapy for Children

When children are struggling, their pain often shows up in ways they can’t yet put into words — through big feelings, outbursts, or withdrawn behavior.

We begin with a compassionate, developmentally-informed assessment to understand the full picture of your child’s life — their strengths, challenges, relationships, and environment.

Our approach centers the child while also working closely with caregivers to support healing and change across the whole family system.

We help children feel safe, seen, and understood — and help parents feel supported and empowered.

Therapy for Teens

Adolescence is a time of profound transition — socially, emotionally, and neurologically.

Teens are working to define their identity, gain independence, and make sense of a complex world, often while facing pressures around school, peers, mental health, and family expectations.

As caregivers, you might see that show up as homework battles, low motivation, defiance, video game addiction, identity concerns, self-esteem, or navigating dating and relationships.

No matter what your teen is going through, we offer a grounded, relational approach that balances trust-building with skill-building.

Therapy becomes a space where teens can be themselves without fear of judgment, while learning how to regulate emotions, communicate effectively, and feel more in control of their lives.

Therapy for Couples & Friendships

Relationships are core to our well-being — and they’re also where our old patterns often play out.

We support couples and close relationships of all kinds:

Friendships, co-parents, ethical non-monogamous partnerships, and others.

Through therapy, we help you navigate conflict, communication, intimacy, boundaries, and repair.

Our approach is collaborative and curious — helping each person feel heard while building stronger foundations for connection, understanding, and growth.

Take the first step toward healing today.

You don’t have to wait for a crisis to get the support you need. Therapy can be a proactive way to manage your mental health, grow emotionally, and heal from the past.

At InPowered, we combine trusted therapeutic methods with holistic practices, giving you a comprehensive healing experience.

Book your first session today, and let’s begin your journey toward lasting change.

Areas of Focus:

  • When your earliest relationships didn’t feel safe, your nervous system learned to adapt — often in ways that required you to silence parts of yourself just to stay connected.

You may find yourself now struggling with closeness, trust, or self-worth, even if you can’t quite name why.

At InPowered, we gently explore these early attachment wounds through a trauma-informed and parts-based lens.

Together, we’ll help you reconnect with the parts of you that had to go quiet, build safety in your relationships, and reclaim a sense of wholeness — one that doesn’t require you to keep abandoning yourself.

  • Anxiety can feel like living in a body that’s always bracing for impact — even when nothing’s wrong.

Whether it shows up as racing thoughts, chronic tension, or sudden waves of panic, it’s exhausting to constantly be on high alert.

Our therapists see anxiety not as something to “fix,” but as a signal from your system that safety has felt out of reach.

Using somatic therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we’ll help you tune into what your anxiety is trying to protect, create more space in your body and mind, and build lasting tools for regulation and relief.

  • When your needs were minimized or ignored growing up, you may have learned to prioritize everyone else — even at the expense of yourself.

Over time, this pattern can lead to resentment, burnout, and a sense of losing who you really are.

At InPowered, we approach codependency with deep empathy and zero shame.

Through relational therapy, boundary work, and Internal Family Systems parts-based healing, we help you reconnect with your own wants and needs, build self-trust, and create relationships rooted in mutual care — not self-sacrifice.

  • Depression can feel like there’s a heavy weight following you everywhere, or like you’re watching life happen from behind glass.  You might feel numb, irritable, or constantly exhausted.

At InPowered, we don’t rush to fix or force positivity. We meet you where you are, with warmth, compassion, and trauma-informed care that honors the full complexity of your experience.

Together, we’ll work to reconnect you with hope, meaning, and a sense of aliveness.

  • Using food to soothe pain or manage emotions is more common than you think — and it doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you.

Whether you find yourself stuck in a cycle of bingeing and regret, chronic restriction, or feeling preoccupied with your body and food, you're not alone.

At InPowered, we use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the H.A.Y.E.S. method to compassionately explore the protective parts driving these patterns.

Together, we’ll create space for healing, self-trust, and a more peaceful relationship with food and your body

  • Grief can arise from the loss of a relationship, identity, dream, or sense of safety.

When you’re grieving, that experience doesn’t follow a predictable timeline. Anger, fear, resentment, and sadness can pop up out of seemingly nowhere, making your world feel unstable and reactive.

Whether your loss was recent or long ago, named or unspoken, we hold space for all of it.

At InPowered, our holistic approach honors your unique grief process, helping you move through it at your own pace and reconnect with meaning, memory, and self.

  • Living in a world that often misunderstands or marginalizes LGBTQIA+ identities can take a toll on mental health.

Whether you’re navigating coming out, gender exploration, family relationships, or the impact of discrimination, our team offers a safe, affirming space rooted in deep respect and cultural humility.

We recognize that your identity is a strength — and your therapy should reflect that.

We work from an intersectional, trauma-informed lens to support your healing, joy, and self-expression.

  • Being neurodivergent or gifted often means living in a world that wasn’t built with your brain in mind.

You may feel misunderstood, overwhelmed by your inner world, or constantly trying to “fit” into systems that don't fit you.

We understand the complexity of these experiences — the intensity, the sensitivity, the strengths, and the struggles.

Our therapists offer a neurodivergent-affirming space to explore your identity, unlearn harmful narratives, and build tools that work with your brain, not against it.

  • Raising children (especially in today’s world) can push you to your limits. It’s relentless, overwhelming, and deeply personal.

You may find yourself reacting in ways that surprise you, repeating patterns you swore you’d break, or simply feeling burned out and disconnected from the kind of parent you want to be.

At InPowered, we offer compassionate, nonjudgmental support to help you regulate your nervous system, understand your triggers, and reconnect with your values — so you can show up with more presence, patience, clarity, and peace.

  • Raising twins or multiples is a beautiful, intense, and often overwhelming experience.

The demands are exponential and so is the emotional load, as you navigate the unique needs and personalities of each child and manage the dynamics of their shared bond.

At InPowered, we help you find balance and resilience in the chaos.

Whether it’s coping with the exhaustion, juggling routines, or nurturing both your children and yourself, we offer the support you need to thrive in your journey as a parent of multiples.

  • Welcoming a new baby is often painted as a purely joyful experience… but the reality is more complex.

The transition into parenthood brings massive upheaval, and for many, it also brings postpartum depression, anxiety, or a deep sense of disconnection from your partner, friends and loved ones, and the world outside your new-baby “bubble.”

At InPowered, we offer a compassionate space where your full experience is welcomed. Where you're not judged, but fully accepted and supported.

Through evidence-based and trauma-informed care, we help you navigate the emotional terrain of this tender season, reconnect to yourself, and begin to feel like you again.

  • Relationships ask us to be seen — fully, tenderly, and often before we feel ready. That kind of vulnerability can activate our most deeply ingrained self-protections.

Whether you're navigating conflict, communication breakdowns, or just feeling stuck in patterns that keep repeating, we're here to help.

At InPowered, we create a space where you and your partner (or friend, chosen family, or other relationship) can explore what's really happening beneath the surface and move toward connection with more clarity, compassion, and courage.

  • For some, spirituality has the potential to be a source of deep comfort. But when tied to control, fear, or shame, it can also create lasting wounds.

Religious trauma may show up as anxiety, disconnection, identity confusion, or persistent feelings of guilt or unworthiness.

At InPowered, we offer space to explore these experiences gently and without pressure.

Whether you’re deconstructing, rebuilding, or redefining your relationship with spirituality, we support you in healing from the messages that no longer serve you — and rediscovering your own truth.

  • Transitions can bring both excitement and growth, but they also have the power to stir up parts of us that feel conflicted, fearful, overwhelmed, or uncertain.

Whether you're navigating a career change, a move, or a major life shift, it's normal to feel unsettled.

At InPowered, we're here to guide you through the difficult adjustments, providing the support you need to feel anchored and empowered as you embrace this next chapter.
