Led by pediatrician Jess Reggie, this workshop is for girls (children who will menstruate) age 8 and up who haven't started puberty yet or are in its early stages.
Attend as a child-adult pair to learn together and open up conversations that might otherwise feel awkward. Whether you're a parent, guardian, or trusted grown-up, attending together helps create safety and comfort around topics that matter—making it easier to continue these conversations at home.
Together, you'll explore the fundamentals: how bodies work and grow, what makes boys' and girls' bodies different, and the physical and emotional changes that come with puberty. We'll talk about periods in an age-appropriate way, discuss respect and boundaries for your own body and others', and navigate the emotions that come with growing up. We'll also cover age-appropriate conversations about gender identity and expression, because understanding ourselves includes understanding the many ways people experience and express gender.
This is a safe, judgment-free space for curious questions and honest conversations—helping girls feel informed, confident, and supported as they grow.
